My Brother Just Moved Out?

My cousins are moving to North Carolina today, and they were gonna stay with my aunt and other cousins, and my aunt (the one that's moving) said that my other aunt wants my oldest brother to go stay with them, get a job and help pay their bills. I personally don't think what you're feeling is wrong, but it probably isn't helping you either. I think as a family member you are obligated to go to family events and be politely social with your extended family there. You should really make an effort to enjoy these events, and if you can't, at least fake it. I don't think you're obligated to seek out opportunities to get to know them/be with them unless you want to. Sending birthday/holiday cards is nice, I'd suggest it, but again I think you don't really absolutely NEED to. Hope this helps :)

Can extended family having mental disorders make it more likely for you to get one (even a little)?

Im wondering this as I don't know if I have any direct family members that have mental disorders (my oldest brother was a drug abuser and my dad has been negative for longer than I've been alive and he claimed he was depressed before; but as I said Idk if either of them had mental issues), but I know I have a few cousins and aunts that have mental disorders, and I know I've been depressed/bipolar since senior year of high school (close to a year and a half or so ago). I get depressed spell that last usually from weeks to months, and manic spells that can last for a few days straight, or can be a minute at a time (or at least that's how I feel, its like im the happiest person on earth one minute, and almost crying the next); either way the manic spells last for a few days, just that I get momentary breaks if its the second way. I also think about cutting myself a lot when im anxious/depressed or in my rapid manic spells (again, that's how it feels to me sometimes) and I used to cut myself a lot, but im on medication and I go to therapy and im really trying to stop (though sometimes I enable myself by buying a knife and I secretly cut when I feel like I absolutely must when im in a bad depressed/anxious spell. I've also been thorough a lot over the course most of my life (for 14 of 20 years I've had my dad yelling at me, my mom nagging me to clean, and my oldest brother using me/my family and robbing me/my family blind, again for drugs as stated .) So does having extended family with mental issues make it more likely that you will have mental issues, or is it just direct family?

Help, I am seriously in need of some answers!!!?

I am in serious need of some advice about my issue with other females. I often find myself jealous of the way they are comfortable with their feminity, their manners.. etc. I am a female who has been verbally abused by her father, he is emotionally distant, verbally abusive, used to call me ugly when I was younger, and made fun of me, called me names. Yet, at the same time, he wants me to be a high achiever and to even get a graduate degree perhaps. It is weird. When I was a kid, because I never felt affirmed by him, he never called me pretty, beautiful or said "I love you". Because of this, I used to sometimes dress up in comfortable clothes, like a guy. I find that when I am around him especially, I am very awkward and I do not like to appear "feminine and beautiful or sexual" in any way. I purposefully walk awkward, look awkward and stiff because I feel so tense and ugly around him. But I have many guys who crush on me, and I have a boyfriend who tells me I am beautiful all the time. All my aunts and my mom think I am very pretty. except my father. he never told me I am. Because of this, I think, I resent other females who are comfortable with their bodies, with their sexuality, and are naturally "in flow" with it... whereas me, I either try too hard and end up looking hungry for attention or needy, in turn making most of other women dislike me, or become jealous, or, I end up covering up my sexuality, acting as if I am "Sexless" - androgynous... but then I feel unattractive to males. I've been having a hard time trying to figure out what major I want to study for college. I graduated from high school 3 weeks ago and I'm just now figuring out what I want to do. I used to watch this cartoon movie when I was younger. It's about this two siblings, an older girl and a younger boy who were playing in the woods. I was just surfing the net came across a cinnamon and honey tea used for weight loss. I was wondering was any of you guy's have tried this. You boil one cup of water add half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, let it cool for 30 minutes and then add a teaspoon of honey. Check to make sure that your protein shakes are actually really good for you, because a lot of the time they aren't. I always recommend not skimping on how much food your body needs, but it sounds as though some of your serving sizes are kinda large. Try to only drink water, because it definitely sounds like you have enough protein. Have more vegetables as your snacks. If you have cravings for food, and you're actually hungry, then eat a little, but if you aren't hungry, just have some water. Or celery. It has negative calories, so it's kinda like eating nothing.

Diplopia is ruining my life?

This doesn't quite make sense. The problem with amblyopia is that you can't quit suppressing the image from the bad eye. If you have than it doesn't seem reasonable that you will start suppressing it again. First of all make sure that your double vision comes from your two eyes not working together. If you cover your bad eye, does one image go away? If not, you probably have astigmatism in your good eye and need glasses or contacts. If it does go away, you need to see someone else. It is worth trying prism or vision therapy to see if you can get the images to merge. If that doesn't work, you can do something to eliminate the image from your bad eye. A patch would be one solution. You could also wear an occluder contact if you don't like the look of a patch.

Do you have any contacts at social services? I used to work for a carers advocacy service and there should be something set in place for people like you in your area. Try looking online for carers advocacy services where you live. You could get someone to do all the hard work for you in terms of calling social services and arranging respite care or whatever else is available. It can be frustrating trying to deal with social services because they like to pass people from pillar to post and things take a long time. An advocate gets things moving quicker and fights on your behalf. It may be that your mother needs to be an in patient somewhere because you can't be there all the time and it sounds like she is a danger to herself sometimes. How do I get my dogs used to each other?

Ok, we got a chow chow mix from the humane society yesterday, and my dogs still won't play with her. I have two other dogs, one male and one female. The female won't play with her, but isn't growling at her anymore. The male is doing the thing with her where they circle around each other while sniffing each other, but if she gets near his face or tries to play with him he growls at her. How long does it usually take to get a new dog acquainted with the dogs that were already in the house? Is there anything I can do to expedite the process? I'm also afraid that my dogs shunning her and growling at her can cause her to become aggressive to other dogs/animals, and maybe to people. Are these fears legitimate? My aunt lives next door with 3 friendly dogs and her sons unfriendly one. I'm going to wait until her son moves out (it shouldn't be too long) and then I'm going to take her over there to play with the friendly dogs to keep her socialized. In the mean time, I'm trying to keep her exposed to as many people daily as I can. We took her to the vet today and she was fine with everybody and let a stranger pet her. What is wrong with me and why am I like this?

My head is like chaos... it is like suppressed thoughts all going round in my head at once. Sometimes I get flashbacks of bad things that have happened in my life (being bullied etc) and it is making my life hell. I have a new friend called Sharon and she said I could come up to her house but when I got there she said she didn't want me there so I suddenly felt even worse... like intense rage and went back home and started slashing my wrists to get rid of all the pain. On top of that, I have a 'friend' that comes round everyday just to use my internet connection and drink my tea and when I tell him to leave or when I am going to go out he starts complaining and saying that I don't think of other people so I am forced to stay in while he downloads games but I don't know how to get rid of him because if I try too hard he shouts at me. The only thing that really briefly takes my mind off everything is visiting my local graveyard and sitting on the bench. I talk to the dead people, they are the only real friends I have. Heres how i would fix tna wrestling?

If I was going to get a wrestling promotion together theres something I would do a little different than the WWE and TNA. I would make stats involved. Based on winning record and losses. I would fine away to find number one contenders. In TNA they have no fueds they have week long fueds than someone else gets involved and they become a fued which makes the story confusing. TNA needs to add more new wrestlers. They need more giants, they need some mexican luchadors, and they need more extreme rules matches. Abyss is a good character but compared to Kane he is just a regular man. Take Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, and other high flyers and put them in the biggest cage match where they have to climb to the top to get the belt. Kurt Angle needs to put Hogan in an ankle lock to get some ratings.
