Cinnamon and Honey for weight loss?

I was just surfing the net came across a cinnamon and honey tea used for weight loss. I was wondering was any of you guy's have tried this. You boil one cup of water add half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, let it cool for 30 minutes and then add a teaspoon of honey. You drink half before going to bed then the other half when you wake the next morning 30 minutes before eating. I read some reviews saying it helped to lose weight and figured it couldn't hurt. Both are natural so I figured I'd give it a go. It says it works by cleansing your body of impurities and it suppresses your appetite a little. Just wanted to see some reviews to see if it works.
